Does your dog already know the basics and you’d like to progress your training skills? Or maybe your adolescent dog seems to have forgotten everything from puppy class! Emma’s Continued Training Course is designed just for this stage — fun, engaging, and confidence-building for both of you.

You’ll build on existing foundations with exercises like recall, loose lead walking, impulse control, and distraction management. New skills such as distance control, target training, and tricks are also introduced to keep learning exciting.

All training uses kind, reward-based methods including clicker training. Emma emphasises that training should be fun — helping you strengthen your bond with your dog while increasing responsiveness and focus.

Classes are small (maximum of four dogs) to ensure individual attention. Sessions are held outdoors in a secure area, with a comfortable indoor heated hall available in poor weather.

Dogs must be vaccinated, over five months of age, and non-reactive to dogs or people. Classes take place in Oldland Common BS30.
