About This Session

Puppy Socialisation Session My puppy socialisation session is designed to help you understand your puppy's body language, recognise appropriate play behaviours, and learn how to safely and confidently introduce your puppy to other dogs of a similar age. These are small, structured, and carefully managed sessions—not an open playgroup. Every interaction is closely supervised to ensure each puppy has positive, appropriate experiences that build confidence, communication skills, and good social manners. While it may seem that letting puppies "play freely" is the best way to socialise them, uncontrolled free-for-all play can often be overwhelming and counterproductive. Puppies can quickly become overstimulated, practice inappropriate behaviours such as excessive chasing, rough play, or bullying, and may miss important opportunities to learn healthy social skills. Negative or overwhelming experiences during this critical developmental period can also impact a puppy's confidence and future interactions with other dogs. My puppy social session focus's on quality over quantity, with controlled exposure, carefully matched interactions, regular breaks, and guidance throughout. This allows puppies to learn appropriate communication, develop emotional regulation, and enjoy positive social experiences in a safe and supportive environment. To attend, puppies must: Be under 5 months of age, Be fit, healthy, and well, Be up to date with age-appropriate vaccinations.
